 hy by Mark Taylor\n \nMark Taylor has more than 40 years experience as a
 n artist and educator.  He began at age 19 in commercial photography as 
 an apprentice. After working in the commercial world for several years\,
  he decided to pursue photography as fine art.  He holds a BA in studio 
 art from Long Island University and an MFA from the Rhode Island School 
 of Design. He has chaired photography programs at Cleveland State Univer
 sity\, the Florida Institute of Technology\, and Lynn University in Boca
  Raton\, FL.\n \nHis work has been widely exhibited and is in the perman
 ent collection of the New Orleans Museum of Art\, the Ringing Museum of 
 Art\, and the Metropolitan Museum of Photography in Tokyo.\n \nTaylor's 
 work represents a variety of approaches from straight black and white\, 
 infra-red\, pinhole\, panoramic\, and hand colored techniques.  All imag
 es are shot on gelatin silver or chromogenic film\, and printed archival
 ly as silver or carbon pigment prints. \n \nMost images were shot wide a
 ngel using the Hasselblad SWC\, Widelux panoramic camera\, and the Zero 
 image pinhole camera.\n \nHis presentation covers a variety of these tec
 hniques\, representing a wide range of options for photographic art. He 
 is thrilled to speak to before our club members\, stating\, \"I can talk
  photo forever.\"
