FRIDAY JANUARY 5th\nat The Republic. That being said\, you guys and gals
need to be aware of and\nprepare in the following ways:\n\n1.) Mark it
down on your calendar and put a star next to it\, because it's\ngoing to
be the party of the year.\n2.) Make sure you get back from your respect
ive vacations and general\ndebauchery by January 5th\, so that you don't
miss it.\n3.) ARTISTS! Please send me (esimms@tulane.edu) your intentio
ns to submit\npieces of artwork to be presented for exhibition at the pa
rty. These can be\nnew or old pieces. Do it! Submit! Pieces will be pres
ented in a protected\nmanner\, and will be returned after the show and t
he party.\n4.) Make no other plans\, lest ye be boo'd and taunted.\n\nTh
is event is going to be off the hook fun. The space-- The Republic-- is
a\nbeautiful and bumpin club with a full bar and plush\, decadent decor.
The\nevent will have musical acts of quality and mirthful substance\, t
he art\ndisplayed will bring extra class to the space\, (so submit!!! Dr
op me a line\nNOW if you have artwork in mind to display!!)\, and there
will also be the\nBhangra Dancers dropping excessive amounts of flava an
d talent\, rhythm and\nfunk\, agility and panache on all whom attend. It
's going to be a\ncommunity-wide event as well\, so there will be ample
time and opportunity to\nmix it up with our colleagues and non-colleague
 s alike.\n\nLastly-- this is a high class function-- a black-n-white eve
nt\, so men\,\ndress to impress\, and ladies\, dress to knock em dead. Y
ou didn't think\nthis'd just be your average humdrum kind of party\, did

was started by a woman that while hiking the Appalachian trail a few mo

hat the city lost during the storm. The goal is to raise enough money to
plant 2175 trees (the same distance in miles as the Appalachian trail).
Planting has begun\, but they still need to raise more money. In the fu

later. So tomorrow afternoon between the Nicaragua outreach fundraiser

, passed away on Wednesday\, December 13\, 2006. Leon touched the lives

and through his residency supervision for which he provided an exemplary
role model. In his career as a clinician he showed great insight and c
ompassion for all of his patients. As a person\, he defined the meaning
of true friend and comrade. His wife\, Laurie\, Dr. Don Owens (Tulane

with the experts who are\ninterviewed\, he analyzes the impact of a wide
